Only in California on the Freeway? Perhaps Not
I saw this vehicle the other day on the 805 freeway and felt it warranted a photo (yes someone else took the photo).
Look carefully – what do you think?
First, my impression is that this is pretty savvy marketing. Tons of people will see a car with advertising, especially on the road, so it could be a great way to get your message out.
Of course you have to be a careful and courteous driver or you might find it working against you. Cutting people off, speeding, and other reckless behavior will have your name on it!
However, I also thought it a bit ironic.
First, given this is a Rolls Royce with ads plastered all over, you might have a few thoughts…such as:
This is an attorney who is making BIG bucks to be able to drive this and advertise the business. And I can’t say I have seen another attorney advertise this way, but heck, they do TV informercials! Or maybe it’s just a West Coast thing.
Second, might it suggest this is someone who is charging whopping big fees (these babies run in excess of $200K I think)?
But it might also convey this is someone who is very successful at what he does. And given Attorney King (and the law firm in general) works on wrongful death, personal injury and criminal defense cases, he might be someone you would want on your side.
And now that I wrote this perhaps I have given him a bit more publicity, too. Perhaps a finder’s fee is in order?
