Del Mar Antiques Show is this weekend at the Del Mar Fairgrounds, November 19 - 21, 2010
The very popular annual Del Mar Antiques Show is coming to the Del Mar Fairgrounds this weekend, Friday November 19th through Sunday November 21st. This is the largest fair of its kind in California with antiques from around the world.
The Del Mar Antiques Show is huge and offers something for everyone, with well over 100 exhibitors (100,000 SF of exhibition space) offering a wide array of antiques from around the world, including furniture, art, jewelry, china, glassware, sterling, lighting and vintage clothing. You can get an on-line 50% discount coupon from Calendar Antique Shows through the Del Mar Fairgrounds site.
Admission is $8 for all 3 days (children are free). Be aware that they charge for parking (about $9).
The Del Mar Antiques Show opens this Friday and runs through Sunday; hours are 11 am until 8 pm on Friday and Saturday, and on Sunday from 11 AM until 5 PM.
There will be appraisers available to examine your personal treasures and give you the lowdown on value, at $5 per item.
They will also have vendors to restore and make repairs on your broken pottery, glassware, fine glass, jewelry and crystal.
