The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints is an icon in the San Diego area.
Located along the 5 freeway, it is impossible for the Church of Latter Day Saints to not grab your attention as you drive north or south in La Jolla, but it can also be seen from many of the area hilltops, including Mt. Soledad in La Jolla.
While I have seen it countless times from a distance, I have often wanted to stop by and take photos, but never took the time to do so. Today was the day, as I was showing La Jolla condos right across the street.
It is a stunning piece of architecture, as you can see from the pics.
