Fun in the Summer in Encinitas CA – Thursday September 15th, 2011
If you are looking for something fun to do on a summer evening you have TWO great options in Encinitas:
ENCINITAS CLASSIC CARS NIGHT
First, tomorrow evening is the last ENCINITAS CLASSIC CAR NIGHT of the 2011 season. This popular event from 5:30 – 7:30 along the Main Street in downtown Encinitas attracts classic car lovers, and cars, from near and far. You can read from my visit to the August Encinitas Classic Car Night and see some great photos (my opinion).
TASTE OF MAINSTREET INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL
Second, due to the power outage last week, the 22nd Annual TASTE OF MAINSTREET International Food Festival was rescheduled to tomorrow night from 6 – 9 pm in downtown Encinitas. This growing and popular tasting event attracts hundreds, with tastings from 33 Encinitas restaurants – an impressive grouping - for only $25.
You can buy tickets on-line or at the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet (DEMA) office – there are ONLY 1000 tickets available.

The Taste of MainStreet International Food Festival is becoming one of the largest and most successful events of this type in San Diego and will also feature music in 5 different venues, including one of my favorite local singers, Allison Tucker Adams and the Allegato World Jazz Ensemble.
So come on down, enjoy the cars, treat yourself to some great food and hear some terrific music!
