A stroll through the Meditation Gardens at the Self Realization Fellowship in Encinitas is a terrific stress reliever.
The Mediation Gardens are a beautiful collection of tropical and other plants, trees, koi-filled pools and waterfalls along winding paths atop the bluff adjacent to Swami's Beach, on the grounds of the Self Realization Fellowship.
The Meditation Gardens are aptly named, as you cannot help but relax as you wander through these lush gardens with the sounds of trickling water and the occasional bird, with glimpse of the blue Pacific far below.
There are many places to sit quietly to enjoy the views or the gardens or the ocean, or to meditate in a quiet corner if the mood strikes you. Indeed, it's hard to believe you are just a few blocks from the hustle and bustle of downtown Encinitas.
