Kitesurfing at the Beach in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, CA in November

A blustery fall day made for terrific kitesurfing at the beach in Cardiff-by-the-Sea, California this past weekend. Indeed, because of the wind and the cold (OK 50 degrees and wind is chilly here in SoCal) there wasn't too much else going on at the beach in the early morning except kitesurfing and a few brave surfers in wetsuits.
I personally like both feet on the ground, unless I'm flying, and a bunch of other land-lovers were out to watch the kitesurfers tackle the wind and the waves. It was pretty cool to watch, despite the chill and wind.

Kitesurfing is sorta like flying a big kite, except you use the kite to pull you along on your surf board. Sounds easy, looks hard.
In case you didn't know what kitesurfing was, now you know. Enjoy!!
