I may be pushing it a bit here to call these "evergreen art" but I thought they were pretty impressive.
Not as fascinating as bonsai, perhaps, but some interesting shapes. At least I got 50% of that right.
The first 4 photos were taken in San Marcos; the last 2 in Carlsbad.

I tend to take note of how the landscaping is maintained when touring condo complexes.
In some cases there is tremendous care toward ongoing maintenance which I usually take as one good sign. Of course they could be spending too much on landscaping and not enough on other common area issues.

Anyhow, they were neat to see and I thought I'd share them
These last 2 were taken with my BB which does only a so-so job.
