Carlsbad Oktoberfest 2010 is Saturday October 2nd
It's hard to believe that we are now talking about the fall holidays. It seems the 4th of July just happened.
In any case, it's time once again for the very popular Oktoberfest Festival in Carlsbad.
Carlsbad Oktoberfest is sponsored by the Rotary Clubs of Carlsbad and will be held in the Holiday Park in Carlsbad from 12 noon until 10 pm on Saturday October 2.
There's a ton of fun for all, with a Pumpkin Patch and Pumpkin Decorating Contest, inflatable jumps, face painting, antique fire truck, dancing and music, and a new event...
The Carlsbad Coastal Wine Stomp sponsored by the Fifty Barrels Wine Group and Carlsbad Coastal Winery (kids are $1, adults $6 including a glass of wine). And of course the German dinner is always a big hit.
