The Ocean House in Carlsbad, CA is a classic. Driving by this Victorian Mansion in downtown Carlsbad Village on the Coast Road/Route 101/Carlsbad Boulevard always reminds me of the grand old hotels on the coast in New England, particularly in Maine, and of Cape Cod, NJ.
The history of the Ocean House is fascinating, and a big part of the long-time, and growing, popularity of Carlsbad.
Known formerly as the Twin Inns, and Neimans, the Ocean House offers great dining, and facilities for banquets, weddings, Quinceanera and dinner parties for up to 30. There is ample parking, you can walk to everything in town, and you are just 2 blocks to the beach.
