Encinitas Street Fair is Here Again on April 24 and 25, 2010
It's hard to be believe that it's time again for the famous Encinitas Street Fair, being held this coming weekend in downtown Encinitas. This popular outdoor fair, the 27th annual, is sponsored by the Downtown Encinitas MainStreet Association (DEMA).

100,000 folks are anticipated to stop by this year's Encinitas Street Fair to look, shop and dine, with over 450 vendors (I've been...it's a winner), lots of music (2 of my fave groups - Luna Llena [Cuban Salsa]), and Allison Adams Tucker [jazz] will be there), and the classic beer garden along historic Route 101 between D and J Streets.

Retailers along the Coast Road will be participating as well - be sure to stop by the best Encinitas Gift Shop - Queen Eileen's!
And do check out Encinitas Orchids Living Arrangements and have a chat with Don Doerfler - a friend and owner/creator.
Get there early, as you can expect parking to be a challenge because of the crowds. Your best bet may be The Coaster - the train station is right near by, one block over from the main drag.
While you're walking around, be sure to take in the many hand-painted banners hanging on the light post from the Encinitas Arts Alive Banner Project.
