An 8.9 earthquake last night near the island of Honshu, Japan has reportedly produced a tsunami that may impact the entire west coast from California to Alaska.
A tsunami warning has been issued for Point Conception in California north to the Oregon-Washington border, and then again in Alaska.
Hawaii is under warning with evacuation taking place from what I've heard.
A tsunami advisory is in force from the Mexico border north along the California coast (my area) to Point Concpetion.
