It looks like an empty field now, or more precisely IS an empty field, but this site will soon be a new seniors housing community in Carlsbad.
The Bressi Ranch master planned community continues to grow and change, most recently with the construction of the Bressi Village Shopping Center, with Trader Joe's set to open in the next couple of weeks, and other retailers including Stater's Bros. to follow.
A new Boys and Girls Club is being built at Bressi Ranch, and along with a large day care center and the Tri-City Wellness and Medical Center nearby the services for Bressi Ranch Residents continues to expand.
Health Care Group will be the developer of the property (they currently have another facility in Carlsbad, Las Villas de Carlsbad) which will provide several levels of senior living services. No dates set yet as far as I know for when the seniors housing will be built and ready for residents, but stay tuned for more developments.
