A recent visit to the north end of Carlsbad State Beach prompted these photos. It's rather unique and interesting to photograph - looks like it will also be the site for my daughter's wedding in October. About 50 steps take you down the bluff to the sand next to Terramar, one of the rare residential areas in Carlsbad that is TRUE oceanfront - because of the coast road many homes are on the other side, still with great views but not actual waterfront.
