I think we will be seeing more of these types of organizations as baby boomers become seniors.  Glad to hear that you have an organization in your community that is helping seniors with many of these common problems.

Theodora - I think you're right. There is more and more of a need for these services, as well as housing, as the population demographics shift.

What a great resource for seniors I wish they had a similar one in an area close to my Mother in North Carolina.

What a great resource for seniors... I think seniors are not adequately recognized and cared for and this program looks like it fills the void.

This is great! And it's very needed in Florida! We have so many retirees here who expect to live here till they die, but they don't count on end-of-life health problems that prevent them from being independent til the end.

Terry - I suspect the need will continue to grow, too. Hopefully more dervices will be developed.

Joan - well there are lots of things we can do. And if folks need other things we all have other connections

Lisa - life has a way of doing that, doesn't it?

Hannah - and we are working hard to get the word out to more and more folks who might have a need. Thanks!

Great information for our Seniors, Jeff. I should write a similar post for my area. (Hope you think that copying is a sincere form of flattery!)
