For a place like Balboa Park in San Diego, California, with a reputation as one of the nation's largest cultural urban parks, this is so true. With 15 museums, a variety of gardens, wonderful theatres, stunning architecture, and lots of green space Balboa Park near the downtown area is a real treat, even if you only have time to walk around.

Hi Jeff,

Just saw your title on Balboa Park and I had to pay a visit. For anyone out there, beautiful Balboa Park is a real treasure. A trip to San Diego wouldn't be complete without it. There is so much to see and do in the place it's a real treat!

Lynda - thanks so much. I have only visited a few times, and been to the theatre, but the park always impresses me as one of our local treasures.

Lisa - and they do not really do them justice.
