Join the Laughter Yoga Club this Saturday in Oceanside CA
Laughter is good for you. We all know that "laughter is the best medicine," and everyone seems to enjoy a good laugh. But so often with our busy lives, stress, fatigue and other reasons laughter avoids us. It's hard to find something to laugh about. And laughing without a reason? Perhaps not so easy to do.
Laughter Yoga Clubs were started in India back in 1995 and have become quite popular - there are now over 6000 Laughter Clubs in 60 countries. [photo courtesy of foxtongue on Flickr]
The Laughter Yoga Club will be held at 5205 Windmill Street in Oceanside, CA on Saturday March 20 beginning at 11 am.

Oh what a wonderful Yoga class ...I think we should make it a mandatory continuing ed class for some agents who forgot to laugh and smile ..how great would that be
Hannah - now THAT is a good suggestion. Do you think it will fly?
Jeff
Jeff...only in California my friend.
Hi Jeff, Now that is different. A laughing class. For sure I haven't done enough of that. I have overcome a lot of anxiety with the errors of trying to leave comments that disappear. Now I make a copy so when it disappears, I don't have to start over, LOL ( there is a laugh, LMAO.)
Humm, that comment went through the first time. How unusual! But I know as soon as I don't make a copy, I'll lose it. , lol
Hi Jeff ~ NPR had a segment on a group like this around here. You couldn't help but start to laugh as you listened to the laughter. It's definitely contagious.
Liz
I could teach these! lol. Seriously. I have a hard time even liking people who are too serious. And I taught yoga for years, so I would gladly switch to this kind! =D
Eric - LOL, dude.
William - the issues with AR are NO laughing matter. And I find that consumers who click on my blog links can get proxy errors, too. How does THAT make us look?
Liz - and I sure could use some more laughing these days.
Lisa - LOL. A new career op! Imagine what you could do with a website!
Jeff
I certainly could do with a good laugh. I was afraid to go to these links because AR is horrendous tonight, but I bet this is a lot of fun.
Jane - yeah. what else is new!? It's gotten pretty annoying adn it's every day. How would you like to be a newbie?
The woman who is teaching this class was terrific - met her at a networking event today. I have clients from out of town or I would be heading over there.
Jeff
Hi Jeff! Well, this is something new to me! I don't need a laughter class but, can certainly think of some folks that NEED it desperately! LOL (see!)
This post reminds me--do you ever watch America's Funniest Videos? When I happen to catch it, I need a box of Kleenex nearby--I laugh until I cry and then laugh some more! If you're ever down in the dumps, have an episode of that recorded and it'll get you out of the dumps, that's for sure! We have one recorded that has a robitic ape being controlled by someone and their cat just goes crazy when that thing starts walking. Well, my Lhaso Apso goes bananas when we play that segment--he actually watches TV on occasion! I don't know which is funnier--the video or Barney growling and jumping up at the TV when the video is playing. I should make a video of that and post it here!
Have a wonderful Wednesday...
Hey, sign me up for that class. Right about now I could actually use a good laugh
Jeff,
My wife and I did several laughing yoga classes the other year when we visited Yogaville in Virginia. It's a lot of fun, a bit silly, and the idea is that it incredibly increases the oxygen flow to your brain. After participating in the session we were issued a certificate "License to Laugh!"
