The Arts Alive Banner Project 2010 in Encinitas, California, is coming to an end.
Perhaps the BEST part lies ahead - the LIVE AUCTION of the 101 Arts Alive Banners where YOU get the chance to bid on your fave and hopefully walk home with an original work of art created by a local artist, with all the proceeds benefitting the following organizations:
- 101 Artists' Colony in Encinitas
- the Cardiff 101 Chamber of Commerce
- and the Leucadia 101 Mainstreet Association

he Arts Alive Banner Project in Encinitas California - The Unveiling 2/20/2010
The live auction of the 101 Arts Alive Banners will be held at the Cardiff Town Center Courtyard at the corner of San Elijo Road and Birmingham in the downtown area beginning at 2 PM on Sunday May 23, 2010.
Why not pick out your fave of the 101 Arts Alive Banners for 2010 coming up for auction (link is to a downloadable cataglog)?
The banners will be on display by 10 am on the 23rd after they are cleaned off from hanging around for the last few months...you know, seagull poop, dust and dirt and who knows what else.
Stay tuned for some photos of the Arts Alive Banner Project pre-auction (sorry, there won't be any auction pics - I am running an open house at a wonderful custom built, never-lived-in, single story home in Cardiff priced at $1.6M - $1.8M from 1 - 4 pm... come on by!!).

Jeff some of those banners look very unusual, but I like them. This event seems to be right down you alley.
