Enjoy "Spa Under the Stars" at the La Costa Resort and Spa in Carlsbad
Going to a spa, for many folks, is a popular thing to do. And it's easy, here in the San Diego area, as there are seemingly a zillion to choose from.
It seems that most major hotels have a spa (e.g., the Hotel Del Coronado, the Four Seasons Aviara, Marriott), there are resort spa destinations (L'Auberge in Del Mar, Estancia in La Jolla, La Costa Resort and Spa with the Chopra Center in Carlsbad), and a multitude of day spas, either stand-alone or attached to health clubs and hair salons, from basic to very high end.
Perhaps one of the more unique offerings is the Spa Under the Stars offered at the La Costa Resort and Spa in south Carlsbad, on Thursday evenings from April 15th to September 9th.
La Costa Resort and Spa was the first full service spa and resort in the US, built in 1965 as part of the famed golf course.
Spa Under the Stars at La Costa, from 3 pm until 8 pm, is all about pampering, with a variety of spa treatments available, selections from the spa menu including bellinis, guitar music and relaxing in the spa courtyard while awaiting your treatment.
There's even an astrologer on hand to let you know what lies ahead.
