The Temecula Olive Oil Company in Old Town Temecula, CA

If you are any sort of fan of olive oil, and olives in genera, the Temecula Olive Oil Company in Old Town Temecula on Front Street is a fun place to visit. There are complimentary olive oil tastings...who knew there were so many different kinds of olive oils, and balsamic vinegars to mix with them?

The Temecula Olive Oil Company grows their own olives - the farm is located along the road to Palm Desert near the San Bernardino National Forest in Aguanga. We stopped by one day but they were not yet open due to their big festival, but it was beautiful and we plan to visit.

The Temecula Olive Oil Company offers a wide array of oils, vinegars, olives, rubs, soaps, sea salts, mustards, chocolates, lotions, creams and much more. A great place to shop for yourself or for gifts. You can also order by phone (866-654-8396) or on the Temecula Olive Oil Website.
Follow the Temecula Olive Oil Company on Facebook.

so many choices, so little time! Thanks Jeff for the info, I know when I go to Napa/Sonoma, it's a treat to taste the different oils - they each have their own nuance of flavor. Will have to try Temecula Olive Oil next time I'm down south.
Jeff, what a cool place. I love unique places like this. An excellent hyper-local post.
Jeff, nice post..........such a pretty setting.........they know staging!
Jeff, I've never been to the Temecula Olive Oil Company, and may not ever be able to get there in-person, but your pictures ARE SO GOOD that I feel like I have been there! Thanks much!
Sunset Magazine had an article in the Thanksgiving issue about all the ways that we can use olive oil. There is actually such as thing as an olive oil cake!
Olives seems to florish around areas where vineyards find roots! Great post and I especially like the open invitation to experience local business. Thanks for the Facebook link!
Jeff, now that is something different to do, olive oil tasting. Never heard of that before.
Jeff, CA and I would have a wonderful time visiting The Temecula Olive Oil Company -- wish we had one here.
Hi Jeff -- This post made me remember when my wife and I go to a favorite restaurant and they have this olive oil concoction (not sure what else they put in it) but it is out of this world, and I'm sure with a bit of imagination and creativity, the products at this store, given how local they are, are beyond tasty.
I guess I must admit that I never knew there was more than one type of olive oil.......
Hi Jeff, The quality and taste of their OliveOils is so worth the drive. My supply is now dwindling and need to go back for some more. Wonderful company and great post!
Jeff
