Women’s Professional Tennis Returns to La Costa Carlsbad in July 2011

Tennis at the La Costa Resort and SpaThe famed La Costa Resort and Spa will once again host atop-notch WTA tournament when the Mercury Insurance Women’s Tennis Tournament returns to LA Costa July 30th  through August 7th

The La Costa Resort and Spa is a beautiful setting for tennis and having world ranked players makes it that much more special.

Tickets tend to sell out fast from what I have seen in the past, especially for later in the week, so order your Ticket Packages or individual tickets on-line now.

And of course you should take time to explore the resort, perhaps enjoy the spa, or have drinks and dinner at the BlueFire Grill.

Jeff tennis is one sport that I never got much into, but I would love to go see a professional match some time.

What a great event Jeff. La Costa is such a wonderful venue. I was just wearing a logo hat yesterday. The family has shared some good memories there.

They were fixing La Costa up recently. I bet it is looking all spick and span for the event.

Jeff: Since you report on all things local, do you have any idea why they narrowed the westbound on La Costa Avenue to one lane and repainted the street?

Hi Jeff, I have attended this tournament in years past and it is one awesome tournament. I am thrilled that it has returned. It is truly a marvelous site and San Diego is fortunate to have a location like this that is so well suited. The entire affair is one class act.
