Jeff I love Olive Oil tasting, needless to say the price points are higher than Trader Joe's best oils, but what a treat. Funny today one of Diane's bosses had no appreciation for getting a bottle of olive oil as a holiday gift so Diane offered to take it off his hands and said Endre would appreciate it:)) so with that said I was thrilled when I got home from showing land in Malibu...Endre

Morning Jeff.

We use olive oil a lot around our home.  So many to chose from, it would be difficult to take just one home

Good morning Jeff. I enjoy the tasting but have a hard time deciding which to buy! No problem though, my wife decides. Enjoy your day!

Sounds like a wonderful place to get pure olive oil.  We have a place not too far from me, but I have not taken advantage of it much either.

Jeff, I'd have a field day at Humble Olive Oils. Have always loved trying different kinds. One of the agents went to Italy this year and brought me back a couple small bottles, it was hard to pick a favorite!

Mmm...that is a taste treat excursion I would just love !

I'd almost rather visit a good Olive Oil purveyor, than a wine tasting establishment.  Humble Olive Oils is my kind of place.

Good morning Jeff.  We have a similar shop down in West Palm Beach that I try to visit whenever I'm nearby.

Endre Barath, Jr.  - we love using olive oil for cooking, on salads and on breads. I have a feeling I will be visiting this store more often now. Enjoy your treat from Diane!

James Dray  Agreed. And who said anything about just one!!

Wayne Martin  - multiples ones in small bottles is the way to go. And I'll just have to keep tasting others and experimenting.

It was terrific Brian England  I personally don't spend much time shopping so while I am aware of many places I don't seem to get to visit them very often.

Hi Amanda S. Davidson

Well I get that. The olive oil in Italy is amazing, among many other things! You got a great gift!!

Sally K. & David L. Hanson  I bet. I know I did. Wish I had had more time. I'll just have to go back for more.

Me too Myrl Jeffcoat  It was very cool and I know we will be back!

Lucky you Gabe Sanders . I really enjoy places like this as opposed to big stores. Even better if it's edible!

We have a similar shop in Camas. Now we are spoiled - we only want their oils and balsamic vinegars.

Hi Jeff - I like tasting.  There is a Fairway Market in Stamford CT that has an entire setup of oils with bread samples.

I would definitely go! I have olive oil every day because I make my salads with olive oil and balsamic. It's amazing the difference between them and a store like this would not be selling some of the cheap versions I've seen.

It's pretty easy to get spoiled by specialty products like this that are top quality.  We deserve it, don't we? And I like supporting our local businesses!

You can't go wrong with some rich tasting olive oil!  Even here on Maui there are now locally produced olive oils from the upcountry region.
