Wordless Wednesday: Farm Fresh Meals Advertising

Farm Fresh Meals car in Carlsbad

I have been driving up and down El Camino Real in Carlsbad alot recently, with property showings and errands, and noticed this cool old vehicle with advertising for farm fresh meals. It's parked on a side street but with great visibility since El Camino Real is a major north-south thoroughfare...hundreds and hundreds of eyes daily.

I had not heard of farm fresh meals before but it's a food delivery service in the area focusing on organic, locally sourced foods. Fully-prepared meals are delivered (weekly choice of menus) on Mondays and Thursdays. I may give it a try!!

I remember when that old vehicle first arrived in the market.  Guess that makes me older.

Love the marketing, and love the vehicle as well.

That would totally appeal to me.  Let us know if you do try it and how it worked out!

Good afternoon Jeff. I would consider participating if I lived in the area. Enjoy your day

Don't just say may, say will. We are getting organic vegan soul food from a local family every Sunday.

They could do well if the food and portions are good

Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543  - those were my thoughts as well. I HAD to stop.

I will Francine Viola  We have tried a couple of food services (e.g., Blue Apron) but there were something we were enamored with to continue paying for them.

You're right, I should Joe Pryor  We've enjoyed some wonderful prepared foods from our local farmers markets.

Morning Jeff.

As I remember, there wasn't many of those Chev's built.  They are difficult to find.

Good morning Jeff - I certainly is worthwhile trying.  We could all use a meal delivered from time to time.

Meal delivery services are becoming quite popular, but they seem expensive.  I would totally prefer farm fresh to any of the others though.

Jeff if you end up giving them a try I would be interested in hearing what you think about their food.

Hey Jeff, Good information for advertising, it got notice and that is what counts.  My parents had lots of good stuff for their restaurant.

Jeff, what fun! This is a slice of Americana with a twist. Can't figure out what type of vehicle that is, though. Do you know?

I hope you DO try it. It would be totally wonderful if something like this was offered in my neck-of-the-woods.

Been perusing a seed catalog, as I'm going to tackle a huge garden this year. We're getting a puppy in two weeks as well. YIKES.

Hi Gayle Rich-Boxman Fishhawk Lake Real Estate

Sounds like exciting times ahead!! What kind of puppy?

I don't know much about cars but according to Mel Ahrens, MBA, Kelly Right Real Estate  it's a Chevy SSR,

An El Camino in El Camino?!

You know, we have something like that here and love it - they deliver a couple organic meals each week and we love it! It fills the void when I don't have time to stop at the farmers market or have everything I need for a meal...and it's always delicious.

I wonder if that 'hut' has a fully-equipped kitchen inside - a 'Plug 'n Go' sort of business?! How cool would that be? Food trucks are a big thing here so, I could see someone taking this idea to the max here!
