2020 Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze Will Open Soon in Carlsbad

Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze Carlsbad

Opens September 18, 2020

Halloween decorationsThe annual Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze at the Carlsbad Strawberry Company will be opening on September 18, running through November 8th.

Halloween may be a little different this year…time will tell I guess. Maybe there will be even more decorations around? I have to wonder if trick or treating will be different in any way, depending on parents, local restrictions, etc.

But there are certainly plenty of Halloween decorations in the stores!

There’s no doubt the Carlsbad Strawberry Company is well known for its strawberries that you can buy already picked, or pick them yourself.

At Halloween time, as they have for a number of years, they open up the farm for a pumpkin patch, and of course plenty of photo opportunities, giving everyone a chance to pick out a favorite pumpkin or two, or three. Fall IS pumpkin season.

Carlsbad Pumpkin Patch and Corn MazeThe Carlsbad Strawberry Company also offers a 1.5 mile corn maze trail that’s sure to entertain young and old.

The maze transforms to a Haunted “Field of Screams” from 7:00 – 10:30 PM on Fridays and Saturdays beginning October 2nd until the 31st, in cooperation with the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation. There are games and foods on the weekends.

For more information visit the Carlsbad Strawberry Fields website!

The Early Bird Pricing for Corn Maze tickets is $25 with a discount for groups of 10 at $200. Order tickets online here.

The Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze are located at 1050 Cannon Road, opposite Car Country, just east of the 5 freeway. There is loads of free parking. Hours are 8:00 am to 5:00 pm daily plus the special haunted maze hours of 7:00 – 10:30 PM Fridays and Saturdays in October.

Most all of the pumpkin fields and patches; along with the corn mazes are Covid closed in our area by Governor mandate...

Glad you still can have fun Jeff Dowler, CRS

I'm glad, too Sheri Sperry - MCNE® . And no doubt many others are, too.

I suspect there are plenty of places that are not open here Paul S. Henderson, REALTOR®, CRS There have been multiple changes in the restrictions here in CA, and in our County since March!

Hard to believe it's that time again James Dray

The marketing begings pretty early every year, and Halloween has really gotten to be a big deal Nick Vandekar, 610-203-4543  I'm still trying to enjoy summer and before you know it will be the end of the year!

Hi Jeff... Halloween events before October are a bit early for my taste. We have so many things being cancelled in our area this year because of the virus, it's hard to keep up with them. I'm still disappointed that our summertime Restaurant Week was cancelled. Our Southern Christmas Show has been cancelled.

Jeff your blog reminds me that I need to see if our local pumpkin patches and corn mazes are opening up this year.

Ron and Alexandra Seigel

It aways feels like Halloween preparations come too early, and maybe even earlier this year. Won't be long before the Christmas holiday season shows up in the stores!

I know what you mean Nina Hollander  There used to be so many events to share, and all that has changed. We have an online art festival coming, but some things just don't lend themselves to online.

We don't decorate for Halloween so it always feels like the season starts way too early.

Jeff, Your Pumpkin Patch and Corn Maze sounds like family fun time.

We have Mazezilla, this year's theme, Spooktacular.  So good to see the outdoor events going forward for the season!
