I was going to include this video in a larger article I am working on about Balboa Park in San Diego but thought better of it.
Much has been written about this park, which has a glut of museums and other attractions; indeed one of our favorite San Diego bloggers, William Johnson, recently shared his thoughts on this park. Read his article “San Diego Treasure…Balboa Park.” I will be sharing mine too based on a recent visit.
But I thought this video was worthwhile sharing on its own. I think it has a special message.
During my recent visit a week ago I was drawn to some music and a crowd along one of the main pathways. As I drew close it was immediately apparent why this musician had attracted so many folks to watch and listen.
I think you will be inspired by this short video. It may make you appreciate even more the gifts that you have, and to perhaps realize than many have it far worse than you do, but are able to overcome their issues with spirit and not let these issues hold them back.
I was tremendously impressed and inspired. Perhaps you will be too. (there is no "photo" for the video yet but it plays just fine)

Wow! That really make me think and realize just how lucky I am and that nothing is really impossible.
Jeff, I will share a WOW with Monika. I am surprise that he has not be discovered by some talent scout and put on TV. Amazing what can be done if you really want to, should make us all think twice the next time we feel like having a pitty party.
Jeff, I'm so thankful that you shared this with all of us. A gentle reminder for all of us to count our blessings. What a very talented man!
Jeff, that is amazing talent for no arms. He can really create quite the sound. Just shows how far we can go if we don't limit ourselves in our mind.
Jeff, WOW, Wow, and wow. When life gives you lemons you should make lemonade comes to mind.
the human spirit never seizes to amaze.......tohope for the impossible.....unimaginable....
I'm surprised Jack Canfield hasn't scooped this guy up! We can all make our own music in our own way. Loved the video.
Jeff,
Crazy ...you never know what type of talent is out there...I know when I was in CA we were at the 3rd street promenade and Venice and saw similar stuff like that.
ALL - yep, it was pretty impressive and really made me think. I didn't talk to him directly but lots of folks did, and he was happy to chat and have pictures taken. It was amazing how he could manipulate the guitar with just his feet (which isn't in the video). sure was glad I had my video camera with me. Glad everyone enjoyed it. Thanks for stopping in to comment and share your thoughts.
